Can Indians enter the Philippines without a visa?

Is a return ticket required?

Yes, and the Philippines enforces it firmly. Airlines are fined for boarding passengers without one.

Worth knowing before you go

  • Domestic flights are how you get between islands and they are cheap, but the baggage allowance is small and strictly weighed. Pay for extra kilos online, not at the counter.
  • Typhoon season runs June to November and mostly hits the east. It rarely cancels a holiday, but it does move ferries.
  • Carry cash outside Manila and Cebu. Card acceptance drops off fast once you leave the cities.
  • Book a hotel near the airport terminal you are flying out of. Manila's terminals are far apart and the traffic between them is genuinely punishing.
